For the past five years I have maintained part-time employment with my father, Barry W. Gilmer, a practicing trial lawyer of over forty years. Simultaneously, I have maintained a general practice specializing in the areas personal injury, federal Title VII litigation, criminal defense, corporate civil defense and general plaintiff's practice. I have conducted multiple bench trials, served as lead plaintiffs' counsel for a FLSA class, assisted with jury trial work, litigated a class action to finality, handled mass tort litigation, served as general counsel for regional corporations and practiced before the United States District Court, Fifth Circuit Court Of Appeals and the Mississippi Supreme Court.

I am an avid musician, wildlife conservationist and nature enthusiast. My leisure activities include fly fishing, nature hiking and spending time with my beloved English Bull Terrier, George.
